The problem regarding the pollution of water has been rising and is yet to be handled widely. According to the EPA's most current national water quality surveys, over half of our rivers and streams, as well as more than a third of our lakes, are filthy and unsafe for swimming, fishing, or drinking. It is not only our oceans but also rivers and lakes that are filled with toxic chemicals and waste in an alarming level. The problem of water pollution is not constricted within water bodies only, but it spreads towards causing adverse health effects on humans and animals and even further causes problems like global warming and extinction of water species.
